Vincent Corey Walker
Born Vincent Corey Walker, the eldest of five siblings in a single parent household and always striving for attention. Vince was raised on the south side of Chicago. He found that singing was a sure fire to turn heads, capture hearts and inspire people. So, he toured the city developing his talent in karaokes, open mikes and in church. Later opening for major recording acts like Brian Mc Knight, Kenny Latimore, Yolanda Adams and singing background vocals for Intro, Howard Hewett and Gary Jenkins formally of the group Silk.
Formally a member of what was noted to be the premier group of the 90's called R. KELLY & MGM. The group won 100,000 dollars in cash and prizes, on a show hosted by Natalie Cole called "Big Break". Eventually the group suffered creative differences and went separate ways after winning.
Vince became a true professional of the art and began writing, arranging and producing songs. Now owning his own pre-production recording equipment, he sells songs and tracs to local up and coming Chicago artist. He has been featured on TWISTA'S Adrenaline Rush Album singing the hook on the first singles re-mix called Emotions.
Recently Vince starred in a Chicago based Stage Play called the "SULTRY SINGING MEN OF SOUL", A musical adaptation of eight legendary men who died tragic deaths. Singing songs of the late great Donny Hathaway crooning, playing the piano and receiving great reviews.
Outside of the multi-talented musical side, Mr. Walker is also an aspiring actor who appeared in an independent film currently being featured at Blockbuster and Hollywood Video called, "Afy Phamily Barbeque". He also landed a song on the sound trac called A Woman Scorned.
